ROOTED IN TRANSFORMATION is a non-profit founded in 2021. We understand the importance of community and the power of WILL to make a difference. Located in Chicago, we are excited about the possibilities.
ROOTED IN TRANSFORMATION, using agriculture to offer healthy, economic, and educational solutions plaguing various underserved communities.
Growing local will reduce transportation distances to the consumer, which provides a sustainable solution in addressing the food dessert challenges within the area. As a local producer, optimizing the distribution in an urban environment supports the goal of shortening the distance fresh products move from the farm to the consumer.
The lack of available quality produce motivates us to provide organically grown vegetables. This supports health and wellness intiatives.
ROOTED IN TRANSFORMATION, using agriculture, STEM, social development, and Education to transform the economics of a community.
Because we are located in the city, the distance from our farm to the consumers is reduced, thus reducing the impact on the environment as well as providing a better quality product for the local food system.
